Intel launches its recently inaugurated AppUp store for netbooks at IDF 2010.
As promised, the AppUp center features content optimized specifically for netbooks, including entertainment, social networking, gaming and productivity apps.
In addition, the store – which offers both free and paid apps – is currently running a “try before you buy” program.
The store already boasts content from a number of industry heavyweights, including Adobe, Accuweather, Barnes & Noble, Funkitron, Gibson Guitars, iWin, Kaplan, Konami and Lifetime.
It should be noted that Intel has also inked agreements with Best Buy, UK-based Dixons and India-based Croma to outfit each retailer with AppUp – which will arrive pre-installed on netbooks sold by the stores.
