The Maps feature in India has not been the most used as it doesn’t offer options such as 3D view, Public Transit system, shopping, restaurants, etc as it does in the US, Europe and China. The new and dedicated development office for Maps in India will help giving this more attention.
Apple Inc. says the new office will be located at the Maverick campus and will provide a LEED-certified home for the expanding team.
