Research in Motion has introduced a gizmo for BlackBerry users that lets you bore an audience to death by displaying a PowerPoint presentation wirelessly.
The BlackBerry Presenter is 3.4″x2.4″x0.9″ and only weighs 140g, but that won’t prevent you being beastly by delivering interminable slides to your unwilling victims.
The Presenter supports NSTC, PAL, has S-Video and VGA support, uses the Micro USB port on your Blackberry, comes with a synthetic leather carrying case and – the ultimate tool for Powerpoint sadists – supports most PowerPoint transitions and animations.
RIM is showing the weapon of mass distraction to audiences in Las Vegas and will sell it for $199.
It needs BlackBerry device software v4.6 and isn’t available for BlackBerry Curve 8300s or Pearl Flip machines.
