Velocity Micro has unveiled a slick all-in-one (AIO) Windows 8 PC dubbed the Edge AIO.
The system is finished in a combination of pearl white paint and brushed aluminum, in a style somewhat reminiscent of Apple’s popular iMac lineup. The all-in-one computer also boasts a 23.6-inch screen offering full 1080p HD resolution.
Velocity Micros says the machine is designed to fit into the decor of any kitchen, living room, home office, or bedroom. As such, the AIO has lots of options in terms of specs. Pricing for the all-in-one computer starts at $799 and scales up based on choice of hardware.
Key base specs for the all-in-one computer include a 23.6-inch LED backlit display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080. The machine is available with a variety of dual or quad core Intel Core i3, i5, and i7 processors and offers multiple solid-state storage options. The computer is also equipped with integrated Bluetooth and Wi-Fi as well as HDMI video output.
Additional specs? An integrated USB 3.0 port, SD card slot, a 720p resolution front web cam, DVD burner and and integrated Ethernet port. The all-in-one computer is available to order as of today – and promises no bloatware installed along with the operating system.
