Clubhouse Now Has to Face Down Facebook

Facebook’s Live Audio Rooms is making its way stateside. It’s a competitor to Clubhouse’s live audio feature, which has a limited number of speakers. There will be a “raise a hand” button to request to join the conversation, and reactions will be available to interact throughout the chat. Users can also select a nonprofit or fundraiser to support during their conversation with a button to directly donate on the app.

The new Facebook feature is also introducing other nifty features like notifications when your friends or followers join a room, as well as live captions. Clubhouse still does not have a feature that includes captions. The Facebook app is available on iOS and Android and users can join from either one.
