It wouldn’t be a new Apple product launch without the most rigorous stress test known to man: “Will It Blend?” Blendtec’s Tom Dickson sees what happens when an iPad is ground to a bunch of dust.
“We’ve heard that the iPad will change your life, but will it change the way you blend?” That’s the question on everyone’s mind, so the host everyone’s favorite product-hocking destruction show “Will It Blend?” Tom Dickson decided to find out.
In the show, Dickson first smashes and bends the iPad to get it to fit in his industrial-grade Blendtec blender. Then he pushes the “iBlend button,” letting Apple fans across the world cringe in pain as a beautiful new iPad is chopped up and ground into a fine powder. “Pad smoke…don’t breathe this!” warns Dickson as he pours out the iPad-turned-dangerous-gray-powder. The lesson from all of this is that even the iPad is not immune to the famous catchphrase, “Yes, it blends!” View the video below:
