Toshiba does Honeycomb with dual-core Tegra 2 tablet

Toshiba is showcasing a next-gen Tegra 2-powered tablet at CES 2011. 



The as yet unnamed device runs Android Honeycomb and boasts a high-res 10.1-inch diagonal widescreen multi-touch display, 1280×800 resolution, along with a 16:10 aspect ratio.

The tablet also features two megapixel front-facing camera, a five MP rear-facing camera and an integrated motion sensor that facilitates full screen rotation and locking.

Additional specs include:  


  • Adobe Flash support.

  • On-screen keyboard with haptic feedback.
  • Full-size HDMI port.
  • Full-size USB and mini USB 2.0 port.
  • SD Card slot.
  • Bluetooth. 
  • 802.11n Wi-Fi.
  • Replaceable EasyGrip back covers and prismatic lithium ion battery.
  • Docking station (optional).

The Toshiba tablet – and we hope it is given an actual name soon – will ship in the first half of 2011.
