The Zune HD will go on sale on September 15 and Microsoft said you can pre-order it now.
The touch screen Zune will be sold in 16GB and 32GB flavors and comes with a built in HD Radio receiver, HD video output capabilities and HD video playback using an HDMI A/V docking station which you have to buy separately.
The OLED 3.3-inch touch screen has a 16:9 format and 480×272 resolution. Wi-fi is built into the unit and software in the device allows for Web browsing with zoom capabilities.
The Zune HD will cost $220, while the Zune HD 32GB is priced at $290. It’s being sold on amazon.com, at Best Buy, at Walmart, or you can buy it directly from Microsoft itself.
