The Yotaphone is a dual-screen smartphone with a full color LCD display (front) and a second sunlight readable grayscale ePaper screen on the back.
Although the phone was originally slated to ship this November, it seems as if the handset will be hitting the streets in December, hopefully just in time for the holiday season.
According to Liliputing’s Brad Linder, specs include a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro dual-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, a 13MP rear camera, 1MP front camera, WiFi, GPS, LTE and an 1800mAh battery.
The color screen is a 4.3 inch, 1280 x 720 pixel LCD, while the ePaper is a 640 x 360 pixel display with 16 shades of gray, making it perfect for reading eBooks, placing phone calls and even basic web surfing.
Pricing for the dual-screen Yota has yet to be announced. Nevertheless, the handset can be pre-ordered here.
