Bluetimes recently debuted two Android set-top boxes based on AML8726-MX chipset for less than $70, including shipping.
The MX5 – selling for $69.90 – is powered by a AMLogic 8726 M6 dual Cortex A9 CPU paired with a Mali-400 GPU.

Additional specs include 1G DDR3 RAM, 4 GB NAND Flash + SD card slot, HDMI + Composite, Optical Audio Output (S/PDIF) + HDMI + Stereo RCA, 2 x USB 2.0 host, infrared remote, power adapter, Ethernet and WiFi.
The MX5 runs Android 4.2 with a modified version of XBMC 12.0 and MX Player, along with Agile Remote Server which transforms smartphones and tablets into remote controls.
Meanwhile, the $66.99 Bluetimes C150 is equipped with an AMLogic 8726 M6 dual Cortex A9 CPU paired with a Mali-400 GPU.
