The parent company of Bethesda Software said it will be the publisher of RAGE, a future shooter under development by id Software.
Bethesda Softworks, another subsidiary of ZeniMax Media, will be the de facto publisher and Electronic Arts won’t be involved in either sales of marketing of RAGE.
RAGE’s development schedule will not be affected by the move, according to ZeniMax Media.
Wolfenstein, Doom, Quake, RAGE, Enemy Territory and a number of other titles are all owned by ZeniMax and its subsidiaries.
