These days, Marvel is practically everywhere you look, especially at the movies and on TV. Now Marvel’s going on tour with The Marvel Experience.
As Variety informs us, this will be a traveling show, almost like a big top circus kind of deal, and it will be what’s being called a “two-acre mobile complex.” This traveling superhero show will be designed by Aaron Sims, who did special effects and art concepts for The Hulk, The Amazing Spider-Man, X-Men: First Class, and Transformers.
There will be interconnected rooms that will lead superhero fans through interactive games, rides, and more exhibits. These rooms will tell a storyline, and as a Marvel source told Variety, “The interior will feature an exaggerated comic-style utilizing projected high-tech imagery, amazing fabricated set pieces and virtual simulations to advance the story. Our guests will be interacting directly with multiple Marvel Super Heroes, as well as members of SHILED, as they take their place in the Marvel Universe.”
So while a lot of what’s going on with Marvel could soon border on overexposure for the comics giant, this traveling exhibit sounds like it could have a lot of promise, and you can learn more about it at the official site here.
