Sony Pictures recently posted a deleted scene included in the Blu-ray release of Looper.
Looper was one of the best films of 2012. It’s a time-travel story that really does justice to the mechanic, and refuses to pull punches, expositionally or emotionally.
Now the studio is gearing up for the Blu-ray release, and to start us off, they’ve delivered one of the film’s deleted scenes:
This is an interesting scene, and serves to develop both Emily Blunt’s character and Garret Dillahunts, while adding slightly more tension to the characters’ escape from the house. I can see why it was ultimately omitted, but I’m glad I’ve seen it now. It adds something retrospectively to the film.
In addition, we’ve got this TV spot for the Blu-ray release, along with a full list of features:
DVD Bonus Materials Include:
- Feature Commentary with Director Rian Johnson, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Emily Blunt
- Two Featurettes:
