If you’re a fan of racing or driving games and own an Xbox 360, chances are you are at least somewhat familiar with the Forza franchise. And if you are a serious fan of Froza, you’ve undoubtedly memorized the date of October 26 – when the latest game in the popular franchise goes live.
In the meantime, an immersive Forza Horizon demo is now available on Xbox Live. The playable demo allows players to experience what Microsoft calls the fictional Colorado of Forza Horizon and drive a limited number of cars to sample at least some of the full game’s lineup. Indeed, Forza Horizon will see players racing in diverse settings, including the Horizon Festival where events are held on dirt roads and include street racing.
Microsoft is also announcing a freebie for gamers who download and play the Horizon demo and then purchase and play the full game online. So if you purchase the game online after playing the demo, you’ll receive a specially designed in-game 2013 SRT Viper GTS.
