Because of reported net hacking, the first trailer for Avengers Age of Ultron leaked into the world early, and it is quite a knockout. Now the next Avengers trailer is going to hit on January 12, and we’re definitely looking forward to seeing the full monty.
Oddly enough, the trailer will be debuting in a very unlikely place, ESPN, and you can see it on the 12th at 8:30 PM EST. (Then again, as Cinema Blend points out, Disney owns ESPN and Marvel, so it’s an interesting little bit of crossover there.)
Blend speculates that the trailer could end up showing footage of Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, who are both in the movie, as well as Vision. “More importantly,” Blend writes, “we just might get to see more Hulkbuster action, because who can honestly say they’re tried of that?”
It’s a trip to realize that now the next Avengers film is just five months away, and we feel it indeed could have a shot at being a better movie than the first, especially if the first trailer is any indication. Avengers Age of Ultron hits theaters on May 1.
