We here at Tech Guru Daily (TG Daily) understand tech. We’ve been using it, covering it and sometimes cursing it for decades. We also understand how daunting technology can be if you don’t have the time, patience, or inclination to teach yourself about every silly new digital thing that comes along.
Not everyone is a geek.
We get that.
Fortunately, we are geeks (at least a little geeky anyway) and we actually like trolling through countless blogs, reading press releases, bouncing from one website to the next, and glomming onto new technologies as if they were bacon-covered doughnuts. And we like writing about all this stuff.
It makes us feel all warm and fuzzy-logical (notice the geeky reference?) when we find a juicy tech tid-bit, cut it open and see what’s inside. We like hacking though the marketing hype and corporate double-speak to see if there is anything substantial on the other side. We enjoy trying to beat the other posers to the punch when it comes to hopping from one bandwagon to the next. And we absolutely love pointing out naked emperors when we spot them parading through the streets.
What we really want to do at TG Daily is to wade through the quagmire of today’s digital world, find the bits and pieces that are actually useful, and translate all the geek-speak into something closer to human.
Hopefully we can provide stories that make sense of the chaos – stories that answer the questions you want answered, stories that explain things you want explained, stories that can help your business succeed, stories that…you get the idea.

My name is Guy Wright and I have been covering the technology space since the days when computers had cranks and networks were steam powered. I have been a writer and editor for many of the most influential publications over the years – publications that helped shape our current technological zeitgeist. I have lost count of the number of articles, blogs, reviews, rants, and books that I have published over the years, but that hasn’t stopped me learning and writing about new things.
