So a new year is finally upon us, and we’ve got some really big genre flicks coming up. Of course, we all know what the biggest movie is going to be, but what else can we look forward to?
According to the ticket buying site Fandango, the most anticipated movie of 2015 is indeed Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and it’s amazing to think we’re less than a year from another Star Wars movie being out in the world. Variety reports that this could be “a record breaker” for the business, because along with Star Wars, we also have another James Bond flick, a Jurassic Park redo, Fifty Shades of Grey, the last installment of Hunger Games, and more.
Disney will clearly the big winners this year with Star Wars and Avengers under their umbrella, because no matter what, both are going to make a ton of money. The new Star Wars trailer has given fans a lot of hope, and we’re looking forward to when the full length trailer is ready.
We also think Avengers has a strong shot at delivering a sequel that’s just as good, if not better, than the first installment. Again, we know both movies are going to deliver major box office, but if they also deliver as great movies, we could absolutely hit geek nirvana.
