AT&T and HTC have introduced the One X+, a slick Android smartphone powered by a 1.7GHz Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core CPU paired with 64GB of internal storage.
The latest iteration of the LTE handset is up to 67% faster than the HTC One X LTE and offers up to 50% more (6 hours) of talk time.
Additional specs include a newly implemented camera self-portrait mode, a sightseeing mode, Beats Audio and Android Jelly Bean.
The new handset will be rolling out in Europe and North Asia in October and November, respectively. An official launch in North America remains unscheduled, although will likely take place sometime over the next few months.
In addition to the One X+, HTC and AT&T debuted the One VX, which features some pretty sweet specs, such as a 4.5-inch Super LCD 2 at qHD resolution (540×960), a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM 8390 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, a rear 5-megapixel camera with 28mm, f/2.0 aperture and front-facing VGA camera.
Additional specs include AT&T’s 4G LTE, HSPA+, 1GB DDR2 RAM, 8GB on-board storage, microSD card up to 32GB, WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, FM Radio, Micro SIM, GPS/a-GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack and dual noise-canceling mics.
The One VX is launching with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, but will be upgraded to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean sometime in the near future. Unfortunately, pricing and availability have yet to be announced.
