Motorola has debuted its long-awaited Droid Razr smartphone.
The 7.1 millimeter thin device boasts some pretty tricked out specs, including a 4.3-inch super AMOLED advanced display, Kevlar fiber and Corning Gorilla Glass to help protect the screen from scratches and scrapes.
Plus, the entire device is covered by a splash-guard coating – even the internal electrical boards.
Under the hood and you’ll find a dual-core 1.2 GHz processor and 1GB of RAM, all powered by Android 2.3.5.
Of course, the Razer also features an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with 1080p video capture, a front-facing HD video camera, Verizon 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and 16GB of storage – with an extra 16GB included on a microSD card.
As expected, the Razr offers support for Motorola’s webtop-powered Lapdock 100/500 Pro, which allows users to edit documents and browse the Web with a desktop-class Firefox browser.
The versatile device can also connect to an HDTV, speakers and other peripherals via Motorola’s HD Dock or HD Station for large-screen entertainment.
Lastly, Razr can be remotely accessed using Motorola’s Smart Controller, which enables users to run apps, zoom, pinch and rotate content, all while making and taking calls.
Razer will hit store shelves sometime in early November for $300 (with contract), with pre-orders beginning on October 27th.
