Social networking tool Twitter has introduced a feature to let people organize the folk they follow by classifying them into lists.
You can make the lists private but the default attribute is they’re public – over half of Twitter users have already had the beta version rolled out during the course of this week.
The list feature is useful if you’re following tons of people because it lets you group them into celebrities, friends, enemies, colleagues and the like.
The feature adds a much needed function to Twitter. The software is used by the high and the mighty as well as the lowly, who condense their myriad thoughts into little bunches of words to a maximum 140 characters.
