Popular Facebook app DoubleDown Casino adds video poker

The popular Facebook app DoubleDown Casino has added video poker to its lineup of social games.

According to a press release, Double Down Interactive, LLC, the developers of the world’s largest online casino, have announced today that they are adding Video Poker to its non-gambling, casino style social gaming.

DoubleDown Casino brings the excitement of Vegas style gaming into everyone’s home and already boasts more than 300,000 players every day. Supposedly it’s a good way to learn to how to gamble without going overboard and getting worked over in a poorly lit parking lot by angry floor bosses.

Video poker is usually one of the most popular games on the casino floor. That could be because it’s the easiest game to understand and play while also getting incredibly drunk. DoubleDown is one of the first companies to bring video poker to social gaming, where players can sit in their underwear (if they choose to) and play while connecting with friends on Facebook.

“Our users have been asking for video poker at the DoubleDown Casino,” said Greg Enell, co-founder and CEO of DoubleDown Interactive. “To meet the demand, we’ve responded with 3 entertaining new video poker games, including ‘DoubleDouble Bonus’, ‘Jacks or Better’ and ‘Deuces Wild.'”

The casino style games offer realistic features that give users the thrill of being at a casino, but in a non-gambling social environment, without the time or trouble of traveling away from their home. And they can game without the hassle of having to be dressed or have any social skills. That means no rude dealers or miserable drink girls to deal with either.

Players get free chips every day and they can play slots, blackjack, roulette and now video poker. The games boast 3-D visuals and animations that are designed to the make them exciting. There are 18 different levels of players, from beginner to expert and gamers can use free playing chips, or chips purchased from the casino, to simulate their casino experience.

New joins who sign up at the DoubleDown Casino get $20,000 in free chips. You can use them to learn how to play the games and win more worthless chips. Hey at least it’s good practice.

Nothing can prepare you for what it’s like to gamble in a real Vegas casino. For that they would need a Facebook casino gaming app that has as much booze (sometimes drugs) and porno as the real Vegas does.
