San Francisco (CA) – Logitech has introduced a rechargeable iPod-iPhone speaker dock capable of delivering up to 20 hours of listening time. The company also unveiled the S125i Portable Speaker, which weighs less than one pound and runs on AC or battery power.
“Millions of people have fallen in love with the iPod, but want a speaker dock so they can share their music with friends,” spun Mark Schneider, a Logitech VP. “[Our] newest iPod speaker docks help improve your iPod listening experience at home, at work or anywhere you enjoy your music. With Logitech’s new speakers, you’ll hear every note – loud and clear.”
According to Schneider, the rechargeable S315i uses full-range drivers to accurately reproduce musical highs and lows. In addition, the device features durable metal grills and is less than two inches thick.
Schneider also explained that the S125i Portable Speaker offers extra bass, along with a 3.5mm auxiliary input for other music players.
The S315i and S125i will be available in August for $130 and $70, respectively.
