Taipei, Taiwan – AMD has launched its ATI Theater HD 750 PC TV chip offering HDTV on desktop and notebook PCs.
The chip is compatible with HDTV, DTV and analog broadcast standards including NTSC, PAL/SECAM, ATSC, ClearQAM and DVB-T.2. It can record content in H.264, AVI, MPEG, DivX, WMV and MPEG4 formats and will be available in a number of formats including add-in PCI Express cards, USB sticks and ‘others’, says the company, enigmatically.
