Acer has debuted a new AIO (all-in-one) PC just in time for the holiday season. Dubbed the Aspire Z3-600, the Windows 8 system is equipped with a 21.5 inch full HD display, an Intel (quad-core) Pentium processor and offers up to 2.5 hours of battery life.
Additional specs include a 10-point capacitive touch panel, 4GB of RAM and (up to) a 750GB HDD, USB 2.0/3.0 ports and HDMI out.
According to Liliputing’s Brad Linder, the Acer Z3-600 also features a 1920 x 1080 pixel display with 170 degree viewing angles, a flexible hinge that allows users to adjust the angle of the computer while it’s propped up on a desk or table and stereo 2.5 W Harman Kardon speakers with Dolby audio.
“In addition, the stand can tilt up to 90 degrees, and you can also fold it flat and lie the system down flat to play board games or even use the machine like an enormous tablet,” Linder explained.
“[And] while the PC might not have enough juice to justify taking it to the local coffee shop, you should be able to move it around the house without shutting it down first, and maybe even watch a movie without stopping to plug in.”
The Acer Aspire Z3-600 is expected to hit the streets for $779 and scale up based on specs.
