These mini-PCs are powered by Intel Celeron chips

At least two new mini-PCs powered by Intel (x86) Celeron chips, paired with 2GB of RAM and 8GB of solid state storage (SSD), recently surfaced on AliExpress.

Although the uber-mini PCs are the size of a Nintendo Wii, they are more than capable of operating as full-fledged computers.

As Liliputing’s Brad Linder notes, while the mini-PCs arrive without an operating system, the sub-$200 units should be able to run most versions of Windows and GNU/Linux including Ubuntu, Mint, Debian and Fedora.

Pricing?

A model dubbed the X-26 carries a price tag of around $140 ($190 with shipping), while another sells for $145 (+$10 for WiFi).

“The first model is probably the better bargain, unless you need a few extra USB ports. The second model has 6 while the first has 4,” Linder explained. “But the X-26 description also says the system is fanless, while the other model seems to have a small fan which could generate a bit of noise.”

Both of the above-mentioned systems are equipped with a 1.8 GHz Intel Celeron 1037U dual-core processor (17W), Intel HD graphics with a clock speed running between 350 MHz and 1 GHz. Additional key specs? 2.5 inch drive bays, Ethernet, VGA, and HDMI ports, audio jacks and wireless antennae.
