Rejoice all ye Apple faithful! The long-awaited “magical” iPad is currently available for pre-order, with reservations limited to two per customer.
Apple is also offering free delivery on the April 3 launch date for the Wi-Fi iteration of the tablet.
The iPad starts at $500 for the entry-level Wi-Fi 16GB model, while the 32GB version is priced at $600 and the 64GB for $700.
However, iPads equipped with both Wi-Fi and 3G – which are slated to ship in late April – carry slightly different price tags, with the 16GB model at $630, 32GB for $730 and 64GB for $830.
Meanwhile, Apple also confirmed that the iPad will be packaged with complimentary telephone technical support for the first 90 days and a hardware warranty of one year. Two years of additional AppleCare coverage can be purchased for $99.
In addition, customers can also buy various accessories for the device, such as the iPad Case ($40), the iPad Dock ($29), 10W USB Power Adapter ($29), iPad Dock Connector to VGA Adapter ($29), Keyboard Dock ($70) and in-ear headphones with remote and microphone ($80).
Finally, according to AppleInsider, the iPad box will include the tablet, a dock connector to USB cable, 10W USB Power Adapter, documentation and a SIM eject tool with the 3G model.
