Aoson has introduced a versatile MID that is capable of running 8 operating systems without modding, hacking, rooting or jailbreaking.
According to ChinITech, the Android-based Aoson M500 supports the (multi-boot) installation of Windows 98, 2000, 2003, XP, Vista, 7, Mac 9.1 and Linux 2.4.
The sleek device – which is powered by a Marvell PXA 303-624 MHz processor – also features a 5-inch touch screen (800 x 480), 128MB RAM, 256MB ROM and an HDMI (720p) output.
In addition, the M500 boasts an integrated stylus, four direct access buttons, a joystick, microphone/speaker, SD slot and a 2500mAh battery.
Finally, the MID offers full Internet connectivity via a 3G (WCDMA/EVDO) and WiFi module, along with a GPS chip.
The M500 is currently available in China for $265.
