A sleek Aigo MID running Nokia’s Maemo Linux has been spotted in the wild. The Walkshow NX7001 – which boasts a compact smartphone form factor – is powered by a Marvell PXA310 806MHz processor, 128MB DDR and NAND flash.
The $500 device also offers support for 3G, WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth.
“You can download thousands of applications and video games. [In addition], the new MiD [is capable of] reading MS Office files and PDFs, [as well as] serving as an ebook reader and MP4 player,” explained a post on ChinITech.
“The Walkshow NX7001 [also] integrates a Webkit browser that supports Java and Flash – [so] you can watch streaming videos and play flash games online.”
According to ChinITech, the device features a resistive 16:9 4.3-inch, 800 × 480 touch screen, along with two cameras.
“One [camera is located] at the [back] with 2 megapixel to take photos and the other at the front for video conferencing.”
Sweet!
