Hewlett Packard’s Omni 10 Windows tablet recently hit US shores with a $350 price tag.
The device is equipped with Intel’s Atom Z3770 quad-core processor, a 10 inch, full HD display (1920 x 1200 pixels) and Windows 8.1.
Additional features include 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, a micro SD card slot, micro HDMI and micro USB ports, WiFi, Bluetooth, Miracast wireless display support, 802.11a/b/g/n WiFi, 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera.
Battery time clocks in at 8.5 hours, with the tablet measuring 10.2″ x 7.1″ 0.4″ and weighing 1.4 pounds.
As Liliputing’s Brad Linder notes, the tablet is similar to the Asus Transformer Book T100, albeit with a faster processor, a higher resolution display and sans the keyboard dock.
“Eventually HP plans to offer an optional keyboard accessory, but the Asus tablet ships standard with a keyboard and sells for $399 or less,” Linder added.
HP’s Omni 10 is currently available at Office Depot for $350.
