NASA contractor used work computer for child porn

He doesn’t have the same panache as the diaper-wearing crazy astronaut lady Lisa Nowak, but NASA worker Cecil Graham’s offense is far worse.

Graham, a 67-year-old contractor for the space agency who had recently done work with the Hubble Space Telescope, faces up to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to possession of child pornography.

Armed with a search warrant, police stormed Graham’s office at NASA and found numerous sexually explicit images that had been attempted to be deleted from his work computer. They also found search terms in his browser history that were associated with child pornography.

Also seized were flash drives, CDs, and printed images with offensive content found at his workplace and personal residence.

Officials worked with the office of NASA’s Inspector General, Computer Crimes Division to investigate claims and tips about Graham. He had worked on a freelance basis doing logistics work for the agency.

The investigation revealed that Graham had a cache of child porn dating back to the year 2000. Officials say he owned between 10 and 150 explicit images.
