Time for another edition of Unplugging. Disconnect and dive into the world of music with your friends at mxdwn.

British rock band, Pulp, hasn’t played together since 1996, but that will all change next summer when the band reunites on stage with the complete original lineup. The group has announced two confirmed shows for 2011, Barcelona’s Primavera Sound Festival and UK’s Wireless Festival. Pulp will be playing songs from their entire career, and promises even more tour dates to be announced soon.

Australian rocker and Models frontman James Freud, 51, was found dead this week in his Melbourne home after an apparent suicide. Best known in the US for his singles “Out of Mind, Out of Sight” and “Cold Fever,” Freud suffered from a long battle with alcoholism. After quitting and conquering the disease, he recently started drinking again. Our condolences go out to family, friends and fans.
