Batman Vs Superman doesn’t have enough problems, now there’s talk that Wonder Woman could be a part of it? We know Warner Brothers has wanted to get a Wonder Woman movie off the ground, but does cramming her into Batman Vs Superman solve anybody’s problems?
Well here’s what we know so far. Batman Vs Superman is casting right now. Reports have popped up on the net that the powers that be are looking for a female lead, and rumor has it this could be for someone to play the role of Wonder Woman.
Variety and The Huffington Post tells us three actresses have auditioned for the film, Gal Gadot (Fast and Furious 6), Elodie Yung (G.I. Joe: Retaliation), and Olga Kurylenko (To the Wonder). Variety says the role that Warners hopes to cast is for a woman who is “tall, brunette, athletic and exotic.”
Rolling Stone has also reported that the movie could be including another male superhero, The Flash, and you get the impression Warners could be setting up a Justice League movie from here. As this story was being finalized, The Wrap has also reported that Adam Driver, who stars on the show Girls, is allegedly up to play Nightwing as well.
Just like packing too many villains in a superhero movie isn’t a good idea, we don’t think cramming too many heroes into Batman Vs Superman is such a hot idea either. Always remember, whenever you try to go in too many directions at once, you usually end up going nowhere.
