Razer has confirmed that its long-awaited Edge and Edge Pro Windows 8 tablets will be available for pre-order on March 1.
The 10.1-inch devices start at $999.99 for a 64GB model with 4GB of RAM, increasing to $1,299.99 with 128GB of storage and $1,449.99 for a 256GB drive.
The base version is powered by an Intel Core i5 processor paired with Nvidia GT 640M LE graphics, while the upgraded Pro is equipped with an Intel Core i7 processor, the same Nvidia GPU and 8 GB of RAM. The Pro version will also be offered in bundled packages that includes the Gamepad Controller.
As previously discussed on TG Daily, The Edge supports four dedicated configurations including tablet, keyboard, gamepad controller and docking station.
Additional specs? Three USB 2.0 ports, HDMI 1.4 output and a 10.1-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 1366 x 768.
According to The Verge, some of the above-mentioned modes are associated with a particular dock, yet it remains unclear exactly how much each one will cost.
