Howard Stern pays homage to Steve Jobs

As long time Howard Stern fans like myself know, the guy was a big fan of Steve Jobs and his innovations. Now with Jobs’s tragic passing this month, Howard wants to join the fight against pancreatic cancer.

Stern once said on the show when Jobs was still with us, “I love this guy. He is such an innovator, he is such a true visionary. He’s revolutionized the way we interact with our computers, the way we access information, and the way it becomes part of our life. He is so brilliant. He’s a modern day Michelangelo.”

Stern was of course just one of millions of people hit hard by the death of Jobs, and on his Twitter account, Howard wrote, “Steve Jobs was a true original. So sad. A tremendous loss.”

As fans of Stern also know, he’s recently taken up photography, and he shot an ad for RichRocks, a jewelry company, featuring his wife Beth.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Beth is wearing a necklace with the “Tree of Life” design, which is considered “a universal symbol of encouragement, strength and protection,” and the necklace was designed in honor of Jobs.

The Tree of Life necklace costs $35 and 25% of the proceeds will go to City of Hope.

The legacy of what Jobs gave us will be with us for a long time. His latest gift is his autobiography, where he graciously shares his private world, and sales projections are already through the roof.

There will be more innovations to come that Jobs was working on before his passing, and here’s hoping that many who loved Jobs will support Rich Rocks, and other organizations fighting pancreatic cancer.
