Audiences and critics alike have been quite rightly raving over Daredevil, which finally gave the classic Marvel character his due. So it shouldn’t come as any surprise that the series has gotten the greenlight for season two, except this time he’s got a new creative team behind him.
As The Wrap reports, Daredevil has been given a new lease on life less than two weeks after coming out in the world, but he will have new show runners, Doug Petrie and Marco Ramirez. (The original show runners for the first season were Steven DeKnight and Drew Goddard.)
The site Uproxx is hoping that Elektra and Bullseye could potentially be in the second season, and Deadline tells us we can expect more new Daredevil in 2016. And if you’re worried about the creative team behind the series changing, Petrie and Ramirez are alumni from Buffy and Sons of Anarchy, so we think the show should continue to be in safe hands.
It’s great that the Netflix Marvel series are off to a great start already, we’re really looking forward to Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Jessica Jones, and The Defenders, which will bring all of them together, a la The Avengers.
