The USA’s International Trade Commission (ITC) has ruled that Japanese giant Sharp cannot import some LCD monitors and TVs because they infringe on a Samsung patent.
Samsung had complained to the ITC that Sharp had breached four of its patents but the ITC ruled that only one patent was breached.
Sharp is likely to appeal against the ruling but the tales is more twisted than it seems.
That’s because earlier this month, the ITC ruled that Samsung had breached some Sharp patents.
Samsung is likely to appeal against that ruling.
