It’s been a while since your humble TG contributor has looked at the game market, but it’s usually pretty up and down. Even when times have been good, the gaming industry has been struggling to come back from the collapse of the economy.
Still, there’s been big blockbuster titles like Call of Duty, Halo, and of course, GTA. So it shouldn’t be any surprise that the rebooted edition of GTA V, which is due for release in November, is predicted to be a major success.
Now this will be an updated, improved version of GTA V, and as Kotau reports, it will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 18, and the PC version will be out on January 27, 2015.
According to a press release, the newly revamped GTA V will have “increased draw distances, finer texture details, denser traffic, and enhanced resolutions, new wild life, upgraded weather and damage effects, and an array of new details to discover.”
In terms of wild life, Kotau says the dog in GTA V looks pretty realistic, and the new game will have over a hundred songs as well. So if you’re a GTA fan, you know what to expect, and it should look and sound better than ever.
