Lady Gaga may rave about disco sticks, but here at TG, we’re much more into our dongles, and this particular porn detection dongle has caught our eye.
Made by a firm called Paraben, the $100 USB drive is apparently jam packed with Windows-compatible image detection software which can undress your hard drive completely in about 30 minutes its lusty search for porn.
Apparently the little dongle can thrust its way through 70,000 images, including the ones you thought you deleted. The way it does this is using an algorithm which prowls your hard drive for “facial features, flesh tone colors, image back grounds, body part shapes, and more,” with a purported false positive rate of just one per cent.
Which is almost as good as pregnancy tests. Or condom effectiveness.
Sadly though, the scan works only for static images, not videos, so if you’re the type who needs a little more stimulation from your ‘puter based porn, best keep using the search bar on YouPorn.
