While Avengers Age of Ultron is finally here, we’re two weeks away from what promises to be an amazing movie, Mad Max Fury Road. We’ve said it before here on TG, we’ll say it again: If the movie’s half as good as the trailers we’ve been seeing, it’s gonna be a hell of a flick.
Tom Hardy’s seen the final version, which he calls “huge, a massive spectacle, a massive live action event.” He also calls it “the second half of The Road Warrior on steroids,” and mentioned that the film is two and a half hours, like most movies these days. (Entertainment Weekly said that it’s essentially 120 minutes of chase scenes, and if it’s like the trailers we’ve seen, we’ll probably be leaving the theater exhausted.)
Hardy’s also currently filming director Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu’s follow up to Birdman, The Revenant, and as far as the “There’s a draft being done right now, and we’re waiting for a window to go out shooting. We want to jump out of helicopters and run around with night vision.”
