Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S3 handset is one of the most popular smartphones currently on the market.
The Android-powered device boasts a 4.8 inch HD Super AMOLED display (1280 x 720 pixels), an 8MP rear camera, 1.9MP front camera, NFC tech and Wi-Fi Channel Bonding (doubles Wi-Fi bandwidth).
One really can’t help but wonder what the next-gen Galaxy S smartphone will look like in terms of specs, and there is obviously no shortage of rumors and reports about the purported Galaxy S4.
Indeed, one recent report claims the S4 will feature a curved 4.99-inch display panel based on Samsung’s Super AMOLED display technology, with the panel said to offer full HD 1920 x 1080p resolution at 441ppi.
Additional specs are likely to include an advanced 13-megapixel rear camera capable of snapping pictures at 4208 x 3120 pixels, a 1.9 megapixel front-facing camera with built-in Skype, 4G LTE, Android Jelly Bean (4.2), 2GB of RAM, and a quad-core Exynos 5450 CPU clocked at 2.0 GHz.

The Galaxy Note 2 features a 5.5-inch display, quad-core processor and Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean), while the GS3 Mini runs Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and is loaded with a 1 GHz dual-core CPU, 1GB RAM, a 4-inch WVGA (800×480) SuperAMOLED display and a 5MP rear camera, along with 8 or 16GB of internal storage and microSD support.
Additional specs? 1GB RAM, WiFi, Bluetooth, accelerometer, digital compass, proximity and gyro sensors and microSD storage up to 32GB.
