Samsung is refreshing its 3D laptop lineup, with a bright yellow color that is more than just slighty reminiscent of Asus and its flagship Lamborghini devices.
As the Series 7 supports 3D, gamers can enjoy films and entertainment titles in the rapidly evolving format on a sweet 17.3-inch 3-D LED backlit display (with passive glasses).
Additional specs for the updated Gamer lineup include a new AMD Radeon HD 7870M graphics card and 128 GB SSD – which supplements a 1 TB standard hard drive.
The laptop is powered by an Intel Core i7-3610QM processor and its 3D display has racked up a brightness rating of 400 nit with 1920 x 1080 resolution.
The device is equipped with 8 GB of RAM, which can scale up to 16 GB on pre-order or after. Samsung also claims the 3D laptop boasts a long battery life – despite the raw graphics and processor horsepower.
The Series 7 gaming laptop is goes live Asia on August 14 for 2.99 million won, or about US $2,643. Unfortunately, there is no indication when the system will be reaching American shores.
