Lenovo has debuted an uber-slim entertainment tablet that measures just 1/3 of an inch thin and weighs in at 1.27 pounds.
The IdeaTab S2109 boasts four SRS surround sound speakers, Micro HDMI output, an extra bright 9.7-inch IPS HD display, quad speakers with powerful dual bass and Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich).
As the IdeaTab S2109 is geared for high-end content, the tablet is powered by a Texas Instruments OMAP 4430 dual core CPU, along with 1GB of system memory.
As expected, 720p HD playback is supported, although those wanting full 1080p HD will have to make use of the Micro HDMI output to an external HDTV or monitor.
Additional specs include a micro-USB for charging and connecting to other digital devices, a micro HDMI connector and a micro-SD card for swapping videos and photos directly with a camera, or for storing movies.
Last, but certainly not least, the device is capable of delivering up to 10 hours of battery life for web browsing and video playback (or 700 hours on standby).
The IdeaTab S2109 starts at $349 and will be available online starting in early June.
