Automobili Lamborghini and MIT-Italy have signed a collaboration agreement “ for the creation of a project that intends to write an important page in the future of super sports cars for the third millennium.”
There are no real details on what they want to write in this important page but the primary focus will be new materials in the automotive field, mainly for super sport cars.
According to the agreement, MIT’s students and staff will be able to directly share notes, and collaborate on relative projects, with Lamborghini engineers. Two of the best in their respective fileds, putting their heads together can only be good.
Considering Lamborghini’s latest jewel, the over $2 million Centenario, normal mortals are not the clientele Lamborghini and MIT are aiming at. But at least we will be able to look at some cool photos and drool over some very impressive specs.
The Centenario will also be starring in the upcoming Transformer movie, most probably as Hot Rod
