Razer has debuted a $2800 gaming laptop. Aptly dubbed “Razer Blade,” the system measures 0.88 inches thin, weighs 6.97lbs and features 10 adaptive tactile keys for in-game commands.
Razer Blade also boasts an Intel Core i7 processor, high-performance Nvidia GeForce graphics and an LED-backlit high-definition 17″ display.
A second, smaller tactile display (next to the keyboard) is capable of operating in two modes: one that renders in-game information when a mouse is in use; and another mode which functions as an ultra-sensitive, multi-touch panel.
“The Razer Blade was designed to give gamers a laptop they could truly use on the go,” said Min-Liang Tan, CEO and Creative Director, Razer.
“Its sleek, lightweight aluminum construction makes it the thinnest 17-inch gaming laptop available today.”
