Memory firm Kingston Technology said it has started shipping 24GB DDR3 memory kits.
The memory is designed for users of the Intel Core i7 and the X58 – the kit includes six 4GB modules of 1600MHz DDR3 memory.
Kingston has also released a 1600MHz 16GB kit of 4GB modules aimed at the Corei5 P55 chipset. That’s aimed at taking advantage of dual channel abilities, the company said.
The HyperX memory kits are aimed at enthusiasts and heavy multimedia users, such as running video or running a number of “virtual machines” using Windows 7.
