Foxconn’s fanless AMD-powered mini computer is now available for purchase at a $250 price point in the United States.
Specs?
A low-power AMD C-70 processor paired with Radeon HD 7290 graphics, 2 USB 3.0 ports, 4 USB 2.0 ports DVI and HDMI ports, an audio jack, a memory card reader, and Gigabyte Ethernet.

The system also supports up to 8GB of DDR3 memory, along with a SATA 3.0Gb/s port for a hard drive or solid state disk.
As noted above, Newegg is selling a barebones model for a $250 price point, which does seem a bit steep, especially with all the uber-cheap Android-powered PCs-on-a-stick flooding the market today.

However, as Liliputing’s Brad Linder points out, Foxconn’s AT-5570 is essentially a tiny desktop (measuring 7.5″ x 5.3″ x 1.5) capable of running Windows, Linux and other operating systems.
Basically, this small form factor computer should be ideal for use as a HTPC or a PC on a cluttered desk. It certainly won’t offer the processing or graphics muscle for high-end video games, but should do very well for streaming video and playing casual video games.
