Motorola Droid Razr HD videos leak, get pulled

Videos of a new Motorola phone were posted and then quickly pulled from Youtube.

A series of tutorials of what many believe to be the Droid Razr HD made their way to the video sharing site before being swiftly taken down.

The name of the phone is never explicitly stated, though viewers noted the model number of the device is XT926, which has been referenced in the past in relation to the Razr HD.

These leaks also come right after Verizon and Motorola sent out media invites to an event taking place in New York City on September 5.

That event, according to speculation, will be the launching pad for the new entry to the Razr brand, which Verizon and Motorola have managed to successfully market as the premiere Android brand, making them some of the most expensive Android phones to date.

Pricing details for the Razr HD have not been speculated.

And though the videos in question never mentioned specific technical details, it has been previously rumored that the Razr HD will have a 4.6-inch display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 1.5 GHz dual-core processor.

It will also no doubt contain Ice Cream Sandwich, though it’s possible it will launch with Jelly Bean. Expect Motorola to treat it as a direct competitor to the iPhone 5.
