How To Prepare Kids With Mental Training Since Early Childhood

Well, some may find it arguably, but kids have a great sense of understanding since early childhood. To raise a well aware child, it is essential as a parent to let them explore everything around them.

Now that’s one thing, but when you start telling your child about everything that they see or experience or are about to experience, things will be much easier for you and for them.

Yes, that’s how you prepare your child for what they will be exposed to on a daily basis. Suppose you are about to take your toddler to the garden. Before you step out, tell them where they are going, what they will see there and what all they can do there. So by the time you are walking them to the garden, their creative imagination will start working, and they will be enjoying their time in the garden rather than understanding or staring at things.

Is it your kids first day at daycare or a playgroup? Well, tell them that. Keep explaining everything to your child; they will develop a greater sense of understanding towards things.

I am telling this with experience. My kid is now three years old, and he is more aware of things than other children his age. Since I work from home, I get to spend more time with my son and to be around with him. I used to tell him everything that was in and around the house, what I was doing or what I was about to do and how he must accept it.
Like if I was going in the kitchen, I used to take him with me ( of course I put him on his high chair at a safe distance for him to watch) and kept telling him what I was doing. Making him see and touch the bread I was going to toast, or vegetables I was going to cook.

Every time I introduced things to him, he used to be astonished at first. But with time this helped develop a sense of curiosity in him which inspired him to learn. Now where ever he is, he questions about the thing he sees and then he understands. Apparently, he is not a rocket scientist; he is just three. He is sharp and has a good grasp of thing told to him apart from remembering things said to him.

To help you understand this concept quickly, I have divided my theory in two parts, one as a benefit for parents and other as benefits to the child. So let’s take a look.
Benefits to parents
● Over time your kids will learn to settle down sooner at new places
● They will be more keen on knowing and exploring things around them
● Less nagging and clingy child
● Help you raise a creative and imaginative child
● Your child will learn how to react to things known or unknown

Benefits to child
● They learns to observe and understand their surroundings
● A curious child is more open to learning
● Calms down faster at new places or when handling new things
● Easy to adjust to a changing environment
● Faster brain development

Well, we all read tons of study material to get a hint on raising an intelligent child. Most of the time we focus on supplying study material like books or toys for kids to learn. But it is more important for the child to learn from his surroundings not by seeing in books but by actually handling and experimenting it.
