Wonder Woman Director Confirmed

Longtime TG readers know we’re not crazy about the upcoming Batman Vs Superman movie, but apparently there will finally be a Wonder Woman movie coming out of it, and this is alright by us because it’s a superhero big screen adaptation we’ve wanted to see for some time now.

And the Wonder Woman film will officially have a woman’s touch because Michelle MacLaren, who has directed episodes of Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad, will officially be directing the film. No official release date yet, but it is slated to come out in 2017.

In Batman Vs Superman and the Wonder Woman film, the legendary amazon will be played by newcomer Gal Gadot, and she is a very lovely superhero indeed. As Batman Vs Superman director told The Wrap, “Not only is Gal an amazing actress, but she also has that magical quality that makes her perfect for the role. We look forward to audiences discovering Gal in the first feature film incarnation of this beloved character.”

As much as we loved the series with Lynda Carter, we have the feeling this will be a big departure from that, much like the Batman movies were a whole new ball game, and we’re curious to see how Wonder Woman will adapted for modern day.
