The Woz meets Machete

Danny Trejo is one of those actors that even if you don’t know his name, you’ve certainly seen him in a number of movies, just like any other ubiquitous character actor.

All you have to say is handlebar mustache, rough complexion, long black hair in a ponytail, and a tattoo on his torso of a woman in a sombrero, and you’ll know who it is. You’ll probably also remember him from movies as diverse as Heat, Spy Kids, Fanboys and more.

Trejo usually plays criminals and tough guys, and now in the gaming world he’s teaming with Steve Wozniak. Yes, the man who founded Apple with the late Steve Jobs and Ronald Wayne, is about to go head to head with the famous Hispanic tough guy in Danny Trejo’s Vengeance: Woz with a Coz.

As The Wrap tells us, this is an iOS game that will be available around November 22. It’s funny to think of the Woz going up against tough guy Trejo, but in this game Woz’s wife, J-Woz, is kidnapped, and instead of fighting Trejo, they get together to get his wife back.

As a source told The Wrap, the game has “an over-the-top, old school inspired action combined with a retro 8-bit and exciting gritty art style, players with enjoy Woz’s brain power, translator apps, Danny Trejo’s machetes, guns and other crazy upgrades.”

Being that Trejo has been in many Robert Rodriguez movies, including the B movie take offs Grindhouse and From Dusk Till Dawn, you could almost imagine the team of Trejo and Woz kicking ass as a fake joke trailer, like how Machete was a fake coming attraction that actually became a real movie.

Could a movie adaptation of this crazy game be next? Actually, a fake trailer would make a great YouTube sensation, especially if it is done like an old Starsky and Hutch episode.
